At the end of the day, it’s all about conversions. When prospects find your home page or landing page, you want them to either call you or fill out a contact form. And you will be surprised how valuable contact forms are. I am going to show you an example of how many leads one of my client gets, just from their contact form. My agency has helped hundreds of local businesses increase leads by implementing these simple design concepts for creating high converting landing pages into their home page design. Many have seen a 300% increase in conversions, and I am going to show you some examples. Let’s jump into making a high converting landing page OK, we are looking at a client of mine who happens to be an electrician. So, here is my formula for success on how to make a landing page: 1. Include enough information “above the fold” where your prospect can make a decision if they want to work with you or not. You can see from this design, it is clear what they do and contact information is clearly visible. 2. Include “trust badges” as early as possible near the top of your page or next to the contact form. Here you can see my client has been in business for 60 years, which is very impressive. Even a simple badge from the Better Business Bureau lends credibility and often times can entice your prospect to contact you. 3. If possible you should include either an offer or other advantage for doing business with your company, such as in this example, he is offering Financing, which is a big deal, especially for high ticket services 4. Your contact form must be visible and enticing. Here the contact form is still above the fold, and has an attractive graphic for a Free Consultation. Some home page layouts include the contact form further down the page. If you are going to do that, then make sure to have a call to action button that can quickly take your visitor to that location on the page. For example, here you see the Get Started button is always visible, even during scroll 5. Include customer testimonials somewhere on your page. An effective placement is next to your contact form. This design did not lend it’s self to that, but we did place testimonials later down the page. 6. Next, you should include several Calls To Actions on your home page design. Here you will see that we have at least 5 Even your contact form can be considered a Call to Action. Thinking about starting a website business? Stay tuned. I will be creating video tutorials that will show you exactly that.
